PaSCO Xmas party 1955
The close of 1955 saw the rapid close down of the militarised Suez Canal Zone. Camps were being quickly closed down in accordance with the agreement with Egypt and day and night guard duties become even more frequent as more and more personnel were shipped back home. At the end, night guard duty was coming around every three days. No 2 Wing PSCO saw Xmas (and long awaited repatriation) with a truly magnificent party in the old hanger No 2 centred around " Ye Olde Breake Inn" , lots of Stella beer and a great cabaret put on by some of the guys. Flying Officer Scott was on Duty Officer watch so a fire was duly organised at the top end of the hanger in order to test his reactions in dealing with the situation.
