Main runway runs from top right (North) to bottom left (South).
The Canberra ended up at the extreme south end of the runway.
Could the Short Sterling aircraft have been buried just to the right of the north end of the runway which now appears to have been taken over by cultivation strips ? To the left would surely have obstructed the taxiway on to the runway.
