*CAN ANYONE ADVISE ON THIS
In logging on to this web site, the chances are that you also spent some time in the Canal Zone or perhaps you know someone who did. After more than 50 years I decided to show some of my pictures from that time together with just a few notes of my experiences. If these happen to ring any bells why not add some notes yourself or even e-mail me at mr.a.s.york@ntlworld.com
WHEN YOU HAVE LOOKED THROUGH MY WEBSITE, WHY NOT ADD SOME COMMENTS ON MY `HAVE YOUR SAY` PAGE. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE EX KASFAREET OR NOT.

Last Post & Evensong.....Almost every night when I lived in the tent lines, I listened to this radio station closing down piece of music played on the local Forces Broadcasting Channel on my homemade wireless crystal set. The valve was obtained from Prov 3 stock and some one found me an old phone handset which I connected to the valve and tucked under my pillow so that I could listen to the radio in bed without disturbing anyone else.   I only missed when on guard or overnight escort duty.
