Start of the RAF Egypt Cross Country Championships held at Kasfareet.
Fritz Hilsden on the water jump hurdle in the Kasfareet Athletic Championships steeplechase event. I do not know who is in the water. ( Alwyn -I recall taking part in a big station athletics event. I threw myself at the tape in the 100 yards, crashed on to my shoulder and ended up in hospital )

I like the fact that   the greens were known as "browns"

Roger Mace has achieved a highly successful career in golf and latterly as an after dinner speaker. Is currently a Professional and Director of Golf at Monxton & Grateley Golf Club near Andover, Hants. Who would imagine that one of the early steps in his illustrious career was to be appointed in charge of the Kasfareet Golf Course !

              These were the first six men home for Kasfareet.
Walter - on New Years Day 2004 still actively involved with his local Harrier Club. Here he is pictured in the role of turn marshall during the " Beach Steeplechase " on Takapuna Beach near Auckland with the extinct volcano, Rangitoto on the island in the background.
